Attributes of the successful Senior Estimator: Enthusiasm and a strong desire to grow and play an active part within a diverse and multicultural team environment. Proven track record of technical excellence, innovation, and exceptional service delivery in estimating across infrastructure projects in one or more of the following: rail and transport, heavy civils, energy and nuclear. Technical ability to challenge engineering teams and identify/cost efficient design solutions. An excellent understanding of industry benchmarks / best practices and methods of measurements Comprehensive understanding of the assignments as required by transport and complex infrastructure sector. Major project/programmes of work experience. Client-side experience will be an asset.Role of the successful Senior Estimator: Further enhance our Estimating capability, drive technical excellence and service innovation Lead in the development and use of Cost X, Cost OS and other established estimating software. Support our Cost Intelligence initiatives and development of our cost databases and benchmarking capabilities. Deliver excellent client service on our commissions through quality assurance and regular client care. Develop, mentor, and support your teams on project / technical delivery. Exploit opportunities for cross selling our full spectrum of services locations. Upskilling others and providing career growth opportunity. Degree level in a construction related field or equivalent experience and qualifications. Quantity surveying skills and comprehensive understanding of the construction industry.
