As a Sales Development Lead, you #39;ll play a pivotal role in driving the sales of waste wood to meet the demands of outbound supply to contracted power stations. This is a challenging yet rewarding position in a competitive market where your proactive approach will make a difference. The candidate; Previous experience in sales / business development is essential A background within the RORO waste industry is highly desirable Knowledge of the waste wood market is desirable Previous experience in the waste management industry is highly desirable Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential. Ability to adapt quickly to change and manage multiple priorities. Understanding of legal requirements for waste wood deliveries is desirable. Proactive and organized nature with proficiency in Word and Excel. Strong team player Duties and Responsibilities; Door to door cold calling businesses, within a targeted area, to introduce business and services. Maintain and retain current customer base while developing new relationships. Understand industry requirements and legal obligations. Collaborate with the procurement team to drive sales within the designated area. Monitor contracted customers #39; performance and manage any quality issues. Expand the customer database through strategic initiatives and market research.
