Area sales manager

Our client is a leader in their field supplying access products to the rail market. Due to continued success, our client is now looking to recruit a new Area Sales Manager to manage, develop and retain their business in their Northern territory. This is an established territory with an existing portfolio of customers which include subcontractors, installers and direct rail companies. The territory covers the Midlands to the Scottish borders. This is a niche product and our client is looking for someone who has demonstrable experience of selling to either infrastructure companies, civil engineers or the rail sector. Key responsibilities will include:- * Managing your own diary and appointments with both existing and prospective clients * Account managing existing business * Maintaining and building a project pipeline * Attending industry trade shows and events * Achieving business targets and KPI rsquo;s In return for the right candidate our client is offering a competitive numeration scheme with a basic salary of circa GBP50,000 with an OTE of between GBP60,000 - GBP65,000. A company car, laptop, phone and pension scheme come as standard with this role
