This company specialise in the manufacture and commissioning of electric and hydraulic press brake and shears for sheet metal. They have been established for over 80 years and have a high GBPmulti-million turnover. This role would suit an experience technical salesperson from an OEM background who is an organised self-started ambitious to progress their career, the role is covering the North of the UK. THE ROLE: Negotiating prices within predetermined margins and concluding sales contracts. Initiating activities to get in touch with potential customers. Realising the commercial targets for the assigned area. Maintaining contacts with customers. Making an inventory of the (technical) requirements, wishes, needs and problems of customers and prospects and carrying out market and competition analysis. Keeping abreast of the market situation with regard to developments, prices and competition. Liaising with colleagues in various departments, including Sales and Product Management.
