Production operator

Our client design and manufacture precision forged and machined components and are currently recruiting for a Press / Forge Operative to join their team. As a Press / Forge Operative you would assist in loading machinery and working on press machinery with the forge department within the business. Hours of work will be rotating Week 1 - Monday - Friday 06.00-14.00 (5 days) Week 2 - Monday - Thursday 14.00-24.00 (4 Days) Salary GBP26,000 to GBP28,000 per annum plus competitive benefits package. Reporting directly to the Department Leader , your key responsibilities will include: * Assist on component operations within the forge department * Loading of materials and components into forge / press machinery * Carry out visual checks on machined parts and ensure they are to a satisfactory standard To be successful in the role of a Press / Forge Operative you will hold the following skills and experience; * Experience of working in a heavy manufacturing or heavy industrial production environment * Understanding of reading and interpreting instructions * Good communicator and a can do attitude * An attention to detail and able to work meticulously This position is based in Redditch If you are looking for a new exciting and varied opportunity, then please apply immediately
