Production Planner Job ID: 32536 37.5-hour week Monday to Friday (Flexitime, Core Hours 9am-4pm Mon to Thu 9am-12:30pm Fri) Circa GBP36,000 per annum Redditch Our client is a leading tier 1 manufacturer within the automotive sector (and others) supplying to customers globally. Due to incoming company projects and growth they are now in the need for a permanent Production Planner. The Production Planner to plan customer demand in like with customer requirement/ Labour capacity and material availability. Ideal candidate background * Minimum of 5 years rsquo; experience within a similar role * Broad range of skill on excel include use of macros/formula and have good numerical mind. Control of production routing and raising of production paperwork. * Level 3 NVQ/ A level (CIPS/APICS) or above * Strong Analytical, Computer, Communication, and writing skills (Typing) * Continuous improvement/ LEAN methods Desired. * Strong data capabilities Main Duties * Work with Production to meet customer despatch dates * Demand Planning along with Labour capacity planning * Raising kitting of production paperwork. * Attend Daily Shortage Meetings with Supervisors * Communication and coordination with production and purchasing team. * Continuous improvement/ LEAN methods Desired. * Knowledge of KPI rsquo;s ability to comply reports to present to Management team. * A strong team player / Establishes, Monitors, and communicates well with all areas of the business.
