Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Leicester Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 Job Type: Permanent Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights) Engineering @ 365 are currently working with a market leading company based in Leicester who are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis. Job Description: As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our client rsquo;s facilities and equipment. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and systems to minimise downtime and maintain optimal productivity. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and systems to identify and address potential issues before they escalate. * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and other technical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment. * Perform repairs, adjustments, and replacements of faulty components to restore equipment functionality. * Respond promptly to breakdowns and equipment failures to minimise downtime and ensure rapid resolution. * Collaborate with production and operations teams to prioritise maintenance tasks and minimise disruptions to production schedules. * Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment history. * Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and machinery as needed. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Requirements: * Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. * Proven experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment. * Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with proficiency in troubleshooting and repair techniques. * Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and maintenance management systems. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. * Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
