This role is pivotal in providing care and support to children and young people with behaviours that challenge, including those diagnosed with Autism and Learning Difficulties. Key Responsibilities include: - Cultivate trust and foster nurturing relationships to enhance service users #39; independence, wellbeing, and abilities. - Collaborate with parents/carers and professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care. - Participate in maintaining the home environment, including cooking and cleaning. - Accurately document information and maintain up-to-date records. - Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure a secure environment for all. The Ideal Candidate for this Support Worker position, will need to: - Possesses or is willing to work towards the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare. - Driven by the desire to make a substantial positive impact on young lives. - Demonstrates a solid understanding of safeguarding and protection for vulnerable children and young people. - Flexible to accommodate sleep-ins, shift work, weekends, and bank holidays. - Experience with children and young people is favoured, yet a keen attitude and eagerness to learn are highly valued.
