Residential Support Worker Leicester (LE2/LE3/LE5) GBP23,795 - GBP24,835 + GBP50 per sleep-in I am looking for Residential Support Worker staff to work at several beautiful children rsquo;s homes in Leicester. The services provide a caring environment to children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, and are friendly, welcoming home. The homes are run by a small provider who care about their residents and their staff. In this post you will: * Be responsible for providing day to day care for children and young people * Work as part of a dedicated, caring team * Ensure the home is kept to a good standard * Carry out general household tasks including cooking and cleaning * Safeguarding the welfare of residents at all times * Supporting in activities, education or statutory meetings I am looking for people who have: * Experience of working with young people who have challenging behaviours * A good standard of written and spoken English, sufficient to write records and reports * The ability to work shifts, sleep-ins and work to a rota * A full UK manual driving licence * The ability to use your own initiative and exercise sound judgement * Good communicator with excellent inter-personal skills.
