Accounts payable assistant

Accounts Payable Assistant Plymouth Temporary with the potential to go permanent GBP14.95 per hour DK Recruitment are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join thier clients finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our accounts payable processes, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail. Responsibilities: * Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently * Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents * Verify invoice approvals and resolve discrepancies * Prepare and perform weekly check runs * Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues * Assist with month-end closing processes * Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions * Provide support to the finance team as needed Requirements: * Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role preferred * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Strong communication and interpersonal skills If you are interested, please apply below
