My client is a successful, Directly Authorised, Independent Mortgage Brokerage. The company #39;s main aim is to provide the best and most impartial advice available to its clientele. The firms clients are both UK and internationally based, they are often of a HNW nature. The company are keen to hire a Mortgage Administration Team Manager (overseeing Residential and BTL mortgage cases) to join their established team based within their City of London office. The working hours within this position are Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 17:00pm. This is a hybrid role whereby the successful candidate would work from a prime located City of London office on Monday rsquo;s, Tuesday rsquo;s, Thursday rsquo;s and Friday rsquo;s. Whilst you will have the opportunity to work from home on Wednesday rsquo;s of each week. Key responsibilities: Job activities will include: * Successfully leading a small team of experienced Mortgage Administrator rsquo;s. Providing the team members suitably with technical case administration support and development where required. * Overseeing the allocation of case files to your team members, whilst also managing your own caseload suitably * Keying mortgage applications into the different lenders online systems ndash; This in the main will include Residential and BTL mortgage cases. * Providing administrative support to the Mortgage Brokers * Managing the client service experience through to completion ndash; speaking to the clients, lenders and solicitors to ensure smooth progress of the application * Detailing all conversations and actions taken in the CRM System. Also becoming familiar with the mortgage sourcing system that is used. * Gathering original documents from clients, as required by the lenders * Uploading documents onto the system within the required compliance timescales * Scanning file documents onto the system and being responsible for ensuring the final file meets the required compliance standards * Ensuring all work meets the required FCA compliance standards * Contacting existing clients, to review their circumstances and products * Assisting the team with any other duties, as reasonably requested Key candidate attributes: * Extensive Mortgage Administration experience (Residential and BTL mortgage case experience) gained within the independent market, ensuring that you are familiar with multiple lenders mortgage products and online portals/platforms. * Preferably team leadership/management experience. Alternatively, if you are an ambitious Mortgage Administrator, with a wealth of experience within this sector and you are keen to make a step up into a team leader/manager role, then your application will be welcomed. * Excellent English written skills and telephone manner, must have experience in dealing with all types of clients from diverse backgrounds * Must demonstrate technical ability and be confident with mortgage terminology * Must be able to demonstrate initiative and ability to time manage and prioritise cases through to completion * Desire to progress in a professional and growing business The successful candidate will receive a competitive basic salary of up to circa GBP35,000 which is negotiable based on skill-set/role experience. A pension scheme, plus benefits including a bonus scheme based upon the business #39; performance. These bonuses are paid quarterly and equate to an additional 10% to 20% of your annual salary. Administration team members consistently also all receive a company Christmas bonus worth another GBP2,000 each year. All leading to a possible annual OTE of circa to GBP43,000 within this role.
