Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant Company: Tradewind Recruitment Location: St. Helens, UK Position Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm Job Description: Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant for a one-to-one role in a mainstream primary school located in St. Helens. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with a patient and nurturing demeanour. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one support to students with behavioural needs within the mainstream primary school setting. Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions as directed by the school #39;s SENCO and other relevant staff. Foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents to promote a supportive learning environment. Collaborate with the school #39;s multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans for students. Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour incidents.Requirements: Previous experience working as a Behaviour Support Assistant or similar role in an educational setting. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Patience and a nurturing approach when working with students. Ability to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday, during school hours.
