Day centre support assistant elderly social care carer

Job Title: Day Centre Support Assistant Salary: GBP12.30p per hour 32.5 hours per week Location: St Helens Job Type: Full Time; Predominantly Monday - Friday 9.15 am to 4.45 pm, flexible to meet the needs of the day centre (occasional evening work may be required) Are you looking for a rewarding career? About the role: Duties will be varied and include supporting our guests with personal care needs and helping them to take part in a wide range of activities that support their health and wellbeing. The post holder will escort guests between their homes and the Day Centre and on Day Trip outings. Every day will be different and you will have the opportunity to use your people skills to make a real difference. Your compassionate understanding of older peoples #39; needs and your enthusiasm and motivation will be welcomed. You can demonstrate daily your caring skills and knowledge gained from your Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willing to work towards this.)
