Job Title: One-to-One Learning Support Assistant Company: Tradewind Recruitment Location: St. Helens, UK Position Type: Full-time, Long-term Job Description: Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated One-to-One Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to a child with autism in a mainstream primary school located in St. Helens. Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one support to the child with autism in various academic and non-academic activities. Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure the child #39;s needs are met effectively. Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding the child #39;s progress and development.Requirements: Experience working with children with autism or special educational needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Must be available and able to commit to the role until December 2024. Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or related fields are desirable but not essential.Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
