The group who are one of the largest of their kind in the UK, turnover north of GBP700 million across 20 manufacturing plants and over the last few years have been acquisitional within their approach, buying companies within a similar market to diversify their product range. Our client rsquo;s site in Staffordshire is the groups most recent acquisition and accounts for an impressive GBP120million of the annual turnover. The business is rich in heritage with over 100 years producing high quality products across 5 manufacturing plants in the UK. They are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer of a mechanical bias to join their team. About the role As a maintenance engineer you will work within a large team to ensure the safe and effective maintenance of all plant machinery. PPM Reacting to breakdowns remedial repair work Mechanical strip and rebuild. Welding, fabrication and machining. Mechanical Fault finding About you To be considered for a Maintenance Engineer position with the business, due to the nature of the work you should be mechanical biased and have experience from any industry. You should have the following: - Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer within a factory environment. - Experience working within manufacturing would be beneficial. - Experience with adhering to safe lock off and tag of procedures. - Recognised qualification (BTEC, NVQ, City Guilds, HNC, HND). - Our client will also consider candidates if you are recently qualified and have just finished your apprenticeship.
