Pear Recruitment ndash; Block Commercial Property Manager ndash; East London Salary - GBP30,000 - GBP40,000 (depending on experience) Due to continued growth, our client a long-established Chartered surveying practice are on the lookout for a Property Manager with a minimum experience of 3 years + to join their friendly team based in East London. You would be taking on management of a portfolio which includes residential blocks, along with some commercial property and Assured Shorthold Tenancies. So, if you have a mix of experience in both Block, commercial and AST you would be the perfect fit! You will have a fair-sized portfolio to manage so organisation and a great telephone manner is key. *Recommend a friend* - Do you know someone looking for a position? The Property Manager would be responsible for: Responsibilities bull; Overseeing the day-to-day management issues concerning the properties in the portfolio bull; Managing Landlord and Tenant relations bull; Be the main point of contact for clients, leaseholders and tenants, addressing their queries/requests in a timely and professional manner bull; Coordinating maintenance and repairs bull; Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations bull; Have a good understanding of the various Health Safety (including fire safety) requirements and to be up to date with all current legislation bull; Being able to read and understand leases and legal documentation bull; Attending tenant meetings and Annual General Meetings (AGM) as and when required. bull; Being able to use the property management software. Experience of the Re-leased software is not essential as training can be provided. bull; To have a good accounting knowledge including setting budgets (alongside the accounts team) Essential Requirements: bull; A minimum of 3-4 years + experience in Residential Block Management and Property Management bull; Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English language skills, including grammar and spelling, with keen attention to detail) bull; Able to act professionally at all times bull; Good work ethic bull; Good time management bull; Good telephone manner bull; Must be computer literate and able to use MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) efficiently bull; Maintain strict confidentiality bull; Ability to work on your own initiative bull; To be a team player bull; Enthusiastic, positive outlook Preferable: bull; Have knowledge of Re-leased property management software is preferable bull; Full UK Driving Licence and owning their own car is preferable bull; An IRPM qualification is desirable but not essential Qualifications bull; Bachelor #39;s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field bull; Strong written and verbal communication skills bull; Experience in property management, leasing, or real estate bull; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills bull; Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including landlord-tenant laws, fair housing, and building codes bull; Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team bull; Proficiency in Microsoft Office, property management software, and financial management systems bull; Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation is a plus If you are interested in this Block Commercial Property Manager role and would like to know more, please email your CV or telephone us on a strictly private and confidential basis for an informal discussion.
