Maintenance Assistant - Part-time GBP12.60 per hour plus company benefits Part-time ndash; 24 hours per week (flexible days). A Top 20 Care Home Group 2024! Parkfield Grange is a stunning residential and dementia care home situated in Stourbridge. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking part-time Maintenance Assistant to work 24 hours per week. Flexibility on working days is required. The main function of this role is to support and assist the Maintenance Manager in maintaining all areas within the home on a daily basis. The Maintenance Assistant rsquo;s primary responsibility is to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the residents. This person is a hands-on team player with sound organizational skills. Experience in carpentry, gardening, electrical or general building maintenance is an advantage. The Maintenance Assistant interacts positively with all team members and residents and needs to be happy to turn their hand to mulitiple tasks. Main Responsibilities 1. Assist in the day-to-day maintenance of the home including any faults or repairs which may need to be corrected within your capability and company guidelines. 2. Give support to all heads of departments in looking at areas that may need altering or improving and perform all preventative maintenance tasks to the best of your ability. 3. Ensure that the home is kept to the agreed maintenance standards. 4. Respond in a timely manner to all maintenance requests and concerns raised by residents, family members and team members according to the homes reporting maintenance request log or system
