Warehouse operative

Position: Warehouse Operative Location: Kidderminster Shift: Monday - Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm Salary: GBP11.44 p/hr Contract: Temp - Perm Pertemps Industrial are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for their client based in Kidderminster. Working on a static day shift in a brand-new state-of-the-art facility, the role will involve assembling products by hand and carrying out basic quality checks. The Duties of a Warehouse Operative: - Assemble / re-work products following customer specification - Quality checking of products prior to dispatch to customer - Picking and Packing items - Moving stock to the correct location - Sweeping and general upkeep of the warehouse The Requirements of a Warehouse Operative: - Have previous experience of working in a warehousing environment - Have some assembly experience although not essential - Ensure pick rate is high and mistakes are minimal - Have an excellent timekeeping attendance - The warehouse can be cold during winter months - Physical work required, manoeuvring items up to 15kg - Required to assist with cleaning of the warehouse As a Warehouse Operative you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the warehouse.
