Production operative

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Production Operative with a valid forklift truck license to join our team in Bredon, Tewkesbury. Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative: * Help to pick, assemble, pack and dispatch customer orders in a quick and accurate manner. The production of 12v items, such as power stations is also part of the job. * Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift truck to move, stack, and organise products within the warehouse. * Products will be produced using SOP rsquo;s and BOM rsquo;s, this work requires fine soldering, cable cutting and crimping, and drilling using bespoke made jigs. A fine eye for detail is essential to ensure all products are produced to an impeccable standard. * Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack orders according to established guidelines, ensuring timely and precise fulfillment. * Stock Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and report discrepancies to your Team leader. * Quality Control: Ensure all products meet quality standards by conducting thorough checks during the receiving and dispatching processes. * Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the safe operation of equipment and the proper storage of goods. * Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to achieve collective goals and contribute to a positive working environment. Requirements of a Production Operative: * Forklift Truck License: A valid forklift truck license is essential for this role. * Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines. Location: The role is based in Bredon, Tewkesbury, providing easy access for candidates residing in the local area. Working Hours: This is a full-time position with working hours limited to days only. There are no shift patterns, offering a stable and predictable schedule.
