Senior network infrastructure engineer

You will be based from their office in Glasgow city centre (hybrid) Responsibilities include: * Providing 3rd line technical support across the IT Infrastructure environment including cloud technologies. * Ensuring that all incidents, problems, and requests are progressed and updated through to completion. * Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure network infrastructure solutions. * Configure and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. * Perform network capacity planning and optimization to support business growth and performance requirements. * Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network policies, procedures, and best practices. * Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and ensure maximum availability. Required experience: * Cisco networking certification or equivalent experience, CCNA / CCNP * Microsoft 365 * Experience with cloud networking technologies (e.g. Azure). * Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network virtualization technologies. * Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible). * Advanced knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions.
