Proposals manager

BTU Installation and Maintenance Limited operate regionally in the South East of England providing mechanical and electrical systems installation and maintenance tailored to our clients requirements. Our head office is in Guildford, Surrey with a central London office located in Camden. We rsquo;re seeking a proposal manager to join our tendering and estimating department. The post holder is responsible for managing the proposal throughout its life cycle, reviewing portals, reviewing opportunities, seeking approval to proceed, expression of interest, pre-qualification, ITT management, post tender review and feed back review. In this role, you rsquo;ll write and manage compelling proposals, coordinating with internal business departments to ensure each proposal is presented to the highest standard and is compliant with the bid requirements. You will be crucial in developing proposals that highlight our strengths and meet client requirements. You will own the enquiry pipeline and tender diary Be responsible for checking diary inputs and key return dates and times Be responsible for tender portal management Be responsible for tender quality submission. Engage with internal staff to understand business processes and use this information to support proposal write ups. Gain and maintain operational knowledge of our systems and our processes within BTU to confidently answer client questions relating to how we operate. Manage proposal timelines and coordinate proposal sign-off Maintain and update a content management system for proposal documentation Be line manager for proposal coordinator admin role. Create and manage client data base Support operational management team with regard to accreditation renewals Deliver accreditation and insurance renewals to existing customers , customer portals and tender submissions. Ensure that each tender bid is followed up at regular intervals and the pipeline is updated with regards to status of each bid. Review tender feed back update bid documentation to take on board customer responses. Manage the production and maintenance of internal case studies for installation and maintenance contractors Organise customer references to support tender submissions. Core Skills Able to manage the proposal from expression of interest to presentation of post tender documents. To develop, prepare, write and manage content development. Industry specific experience will be an advantage. Ability to deliver compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer agreed upon timeframes. Coordinate and edit proposal input from a variety of source data. Strong time management skills Strong written English language skills Strong attention to detail and project management skills Advanced MS Word skills and proficiency in MS Office
