Job Title: Heavy Plant Fitter - Construction Plant Machinery Company: Leading Construction Equipment Specialist, Hampshire Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Plant Fitter to join our reputable construction equipment company based in Hampshire. As a Heavy Plant Fitter, you will play a vital role in maintaining, servicing, and repairing various types of construction plant machinery. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a wide range of equipment and contribute to the success of our clients in the construction industry. Responsibilities: Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on construction plant machinery, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, loaders, telehandlers, and dumpers. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults to ensure optimal equipment performance. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and proactively implement necessary repairs. Complete all required documentation accurately, including service reports, parts used, and time taken for each job. Collaborate with colleagues and provide technical expertise and support when needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times.Requirements: Proven experience working as a Heavy Plant Fitter, with a focus on construction plant machinery. In-depth knowledge and understanding of maintenance, servicing, and repair techniques for various construction equipment. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults. Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Effective communication abilities to liaise with colleagues, clients, and suppliers. Valid driver #39;s license and willingness to travel to client sites for on-site repairs. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Package Offered: Competitive salary ranging from GBP35,000 to GBP40,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
