Managing / Senior Estimator - Construction Main Contractor Salary: GBP70k - GBP90k per annum + package Location: East London Position: Full time employee Holidays - 22 days annual leave allowance and 8 bank holidays + Xmas off Hours of Work: 8am-5pm All Expenses paid Our client, who has been an established contractor for 15 years, across refurbishment, fit-out, new-build schemes across the London and Home Counties. They deliver projects in the leisure, education, retail, healthcare and housing sectors. Due to the pipeline of work in 2024, their recruiting for a stand-alone Estimator to join the team. You must have experience working in the refurbishment and new build sector, ideally with a main contractor although happy to speak to people from a sub-contractor background who are willing to learn. The role specification: bull; Must have experience working as a standalone estimator bull; Must have experience working on new build and refurbishment projects in residential and commercial sectors bull; Must have experience working for a Main Contractor bull; Must be able to estimate from first principles along with using our supply chain bull; Must have a relevant estimating degree or similar training and or experience bull; Must be able to manage multiple tenders at one time bull; Must be a good communicator and have experience dealing with clients and subcontractors bull; Must have good IT skills and be able to use word, excel and outlook (Emails) bull; Must have a flexible, can do attitude and want to work as part of a team bull; Must be able to work independently and take on responsibility for the tender submission to meet deadlines bull; Must have experience with working with JCT forms of contract To view all of our current roles then please visit our website; (url removed) or register for alerts on our App (available on the App Store and on Google play).
