To support the generation of profitable tenders for authorization and submission, in order to maximize the order pipeline and its conversion into market share, revenue and operating profit within the business unit. To estimate the costs of projects in order to meet or exceed customers #39; requirements. To determine contractual, financial, technical and operational risks and to find opportunities to minimize risk and maximize gross profit. To support the fulfilment of the pipeline of contracts safely, on time, and to the required quality while maximizing gross profit and customers #39; satisfaction. To implement all of the clients policies including those for SHE and risk management. To promote company values towards its customers in order to meet or exceed their expectations and fulfil the vision of becoming the most highly respected company in the industry. Main Duties: 1. To implement SHE Management System, policy and procedures and all legal requirements 2. To allocate resources within delegated authorities 3. To take advantage of opportunities to develop oneself others 4. To implement best practice 5. To support the achievement of the annual financial budget (operating profit) for the business unit Job - 6. To propose the costs for projects 7. To propose estimating resources for projects 8. To support the generation of tenders 9. To lead, manage and motivate the estimating staffs on projects and to establish their full commercial contribution to the organization 10. To implement company policies and values 11. To recognize and promote best practice throughout the business unit 12. To implement policies and procedures 13. To support the winning of contracts while minimising risk and maximising gross profit In particular middot; to estimate the costs for tenders middot; to negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to support value engineering 14. To develop and build relationships with customers, contractors and subcontractors that support the tender process and the fulfilment of contracts 25. To support the handover of tender to the project team (procurement, contract management, commercial management and project management) 26. To support the project teams to fulfil contracts safely, on time, and to the required quality while minimising costs In particular middot; to support the achievement of the project cost budget middot; to conduct reviews middot; to coordinate detailed requirements with suppliers and subcontractors to support #39;value engineering #39; 27. To assess, control and mitigate risks and implement client risk policy in particular to recognise financial, technical and operational risks within tenders and to identify opportunities to minimise risk and maximise gross profit 28. To identify the correct suitable suppliers and subcontractors so as to minimize risk and maximize gross profit 29. Ensure that you are compliant and committed to the code of conduct set out and contained within the company handbook. Skills, attributes and Qualifications; 1. IT literacy including Word, Excel, Email 2. Minimum HNC or HND qualification (preferred) 3. Membership level RICS or CIOB, NVQ level 4 or a proven history of relevant experience. 4.
