Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the Shift Team Leader you will: middot; Support the Shift Technician with the safe and efficient operation of the plant during normalised running hours and also during start-up/shut-down procedures. middot; Conduct regular site inspections/walk rounds to ensure the plant is operating as intended. middot; Report of incidents in a timely manner middot; Carry out first line maintenance. middot; Drive and operating a range of mobile plant including forklift trucks, front loading shovel and excavators etc. middot; Ensure compliance with the Environmental Permit and H S Legislation Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: middot; Ideally an engineering related qualification at C G/NVQ/ONC level. Royal Navy Junior Engineers would also be a good fit ET/LET level. middot; Experience working in a heavy process environment such as Power Station, Biomass, Aggregate/Tarmac/Cement Works, Steel Works, Paper Mill etc. middot; Experience in the operation of mobile plant would be an advantage. middot; Experience working to Safe Systems of Work/Safety Rules Salary and benefits of the Fuel Reception Operative role middot; A salary up to circa GBP34,000 + shift allowance middot; Company benefits including a pension. middot; A performance related bonus middot; The chance to join the growing EFW industry.
