You will be working rotating 12-hour days and nights withing a large team of Engineers, at one of our flagship sites. Swisslog enable skilled and experienced Military Engineers, with current or recent practical hands-on experience within a maintenance or repair environment, to transfer these valuable skills to the Automation Industry. The Role * Breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, to include wrappers; pallet conveyors; packaging machinery; pallet stacker cranes, autostore and robots. * To undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices. * Prioritise system faults. * To ensure quality of output at all times. * To accurately record all work undertaken. * Involvement in continuous improvement projects. * Comply with Health Safety legislation at all times. The Person * An apprentice trained engineer or equivalent qualification. * Experience of working with automated machinery is ideal, however it is not essential as training will be provided. * Happy to work at heights. * This is a customer facing role, so you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
