Gas service engineer midlands london

Our client are a leading and well established Air Conditioning Building and Maintenance company based in the Midlands, who are looking for an experienced Gas Service Engineer to join their team. The areas covered will predominantly be the Midlands and London, but with some flexibility required. Main Purpose: To complete service and maintenance reactive and planned visits to clients sites, predominantly as a Gas Engineer but there is scope to be trained in other aspects of Building Services. Main Duties: middot; To attend reactive callouts as instructed by the service department office staff within agreed client response times. These are nationwide including London. middot; To attend Pre Planned Maintenance (PPM) visits as arranged by the service department office. These are nationwide including London. middot; Keep sufficient levels of Van stock to be able to provide first time fix middot; Order materials required to complete jobs and maintain van stock levels middot; Complete ALL associated paperwork whilst on site completing reactive or PPM visits middot; Where required complete Quotation form and submit to office within 24 hours of job completion middot; Complete timesheet on a daily basis middot; Check site equipment asset register on each visit to site and update as required middot; Ensure ALL Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are adhered to at all times whilst on site middot; Ensure company vehicle is road worthy, clean and tidy at all times middot; Provide ALL expenses and receipts to the office at the end of each month middot; Where required, stay away from home to complete job middot; Where required attend training courses middot; Carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by the Service Manager Health and Safety responsibilities: middot; Follow company policies and procedures at all times middot; Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment. middot; Use of work equipment and PPE properly and in accordance with training received. middot; Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager; Ideally we are looking for candidates currently working in the Building Services Sector as a Commercial Gas Engineer, Service and Maintenance Gas Engineer, HVAC Engineer or Building Services Engineer. Ideally we would like the candidate to have the following tickets; COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, BMP1, ICPN1. In return, there is an excellent salary and benefits on offer
