My client is searching for a Court of Protection ndash; Solicitor to join their Sale, Greater Manchester offices. Person Specification bull; 2 - 5 years PQE with at least 2 years Court of Protection experience bull; Professional and academic qualifications as required for the role. bull; Computer literacy bull; An effective communicator, both orally and in writing bull; Ability to work under own initiative with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities bull; Draft applications to the Court of Protection for the appointment of deputies for property and affairs bull; Work on statutory will applications bull; Work on gift applications bull; Prepare annual OPG accounts. bull; Liaising with Investment Managers and Financial Planners bull; Organise the purchase of properties and adaptations to meet client needs. bull; Demonstrate In depth knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 bull; To comply with the requirements of the firm rsquo;s policies and procedures bull; To ensure the confidentiality and security of all firm and client documentation and information bull; Supervision of fee-earning work undertaken by junior colleagues bull; Participation in marketing activities whether on a firm wide, departmental or office basis bull; Ensure good working relationships with external third parties, institutions, and organisations. bull; Take personal responsibility for keeping up to date with changes and developments in the Law Benefits bull; This is a full time with the option of hybrid working. bull; 25 days annual leave, plus 1 day for birthday and 8 Bank Holidays. bull; We also have a contributory pension scheme. bull; death-in-service bull; critical illness cover. bull; discounted gym membership bull; cycle to work scheme. bull; tech scheme bull; Bupa healthcare cash plan. bull; They also offer an additional day rsquo;s annual leave for your 3-, 5- and 10-year anniversary.
