The role We are looking for an Academic Administrator to primarily support our student placement activity. Working with both our Academic and Professional Service teams the successful candidate will undertake a range of administrative activities, ensure regular placement provider communication and student liaison. There is a need to work with our UK Visa and Compliance team to ensure regularity compliance and Professional Services teams to ensure an excellent student experience. In addition to this a number of other administrative roles the post holder will also provide support across the GCU London campus and assist in ensuring the effective and efficient administrative operation of teams in liaison with teams at our Glasgow campus. This supports the achievement of the Universityâs strategic objectives. Regular travel in and around London will be required as part of this role to undertake placement student and site visits. You will be comfortable developing, coordinating and maintaining engaging relationships with a number of external companies and have excellent stakeholder management skills. You will be able to communicate effectively with diverse audiences from our student body. You will highly organised, be able to demonstrated problem solving and planning and organisational skills.
