Operations Finance Assistant - Bishops Stortford An exciting opportunity for an ambitious Finance Assistant looking to further your career. The Role: * Produce weekly management reports to assist Engineering and Technical managers with spend tracking * Complete the weekly KPI tracker for the Senior Leadership Team to monitor business performance * Support the Head of Operations Finance in periodic Management Accounts and S OP processes * Assist in the annual Budget process * Maintain and ensure integrity of product costs on SAP and associated bills of material * Develop processes and SAP reporting and controls * Provide SAP training for all new starters * Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations Candidate Profile: * Proven financial acumen and interest in the sector * Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with non-financial colleagues * Exceptional attention to detail and a curious nature * Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks * Ability to work collaboratively as part of cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships * Resilience to work in a high-pressure environment and meet strict deadlines * Eagerness to acquire new knowledge and develop new skills * Proficiency in SAP (or equivalent ERP) * Strong working knowledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel Qualifications: * Relevant finance experience * Experience in a manufacturing environment * Degree educated (or equivalent) * Progress towards a recognized professional qualification from a major UK accountancy body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) Benefits: * Electric car scheme * Increased holiday entitlement with length of service * Option to purchase additional holiday * Enhanced maternity/paternity benefits * Free product allowance * Annual flexi week opportunity * Cycle to work scheme This is a prime opportunity to advance your career with a rapidly growing business.
