Registered Nurse - Inpatients: Responsibilities bull; Provide the highest standards of nursing care across diverse care settings. bull; Ensure meticulous preparation of clinic rooms for procedures, maintaining sterility of instruments, equipment, and supplies while optimizing resource use. bull; Timely and precise completion of the Patient Record. bull; Mentor students, learners, junior nurses, and Health Care Assistants, with documented progress tracking. bull; Participate in teaching within your area of knowledge and expertise. bull; Efficiently organize your time and take ownership of delegated duties from the Lead Nurse or unit nursing lead. bull; Maintain effective communication channels at all times. bull; Act as a specialist/link person after receiving relevant training in your area of expertise. bull; Develop patient pathways for both physical and psychological readiness for necessary procedures. bull; Provide comprehensive documented information to patients about planned procedures. bull; Obtain patient consent for specific procedures after completing relevant online training and skills development. bull; Deliver patient care according to recognized standards, research, and evidence-based best clinical practices. Registered Nurse - Inpatients: Essentials bull; Proven experience in a similar clinical role. bull; NMC professional registration. bull; Demonstrated commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD). bull; In-depth knowledge of current professional practice issues, particularly relevant to the unit. bull; Familiarity with standards of professional practice in the broader healthcare context. bull; Additional professional registration (Desirable). bull; Completion of a post-basic course (Desirable). bull; Experience in research and audit (Desirable). bull; Evidence of change management (Desirable).
