Registered Nurse - Day Surgery Unit Responsibilities: bull; Deliver exceptional nursing care across diverse care settings. bull; Ensure meticulous preparation and sterilization of clinic rooms, instruments, and equipment. bull; Maintain precise and timely patient records. bull; Mentor and document the progress of students, learners, junior nurses, and Health Care Assistants. bull; Engage in teaching activities within your specialized area. bull; Prioritize and manage tasks under the guidance of the Lead Nurse or unit nursing lead. bull; Maintain clear and effective communication channels. bull; Serve as a specialist/link person following relevant training in your area of expertise. bull; Develop patient pathways to ensure both physical and psychological preparedness for procedures. bull; Provide detailed information to patients about planned procedures and obtain their consent. bull; Deliver patient care grounded in established research and evidence-based clinical practices. bull; Undertake other reasonable duties as required. bull; Apply a holistic, patient-centered care approach tailored to individual clinical needs. bull; Adapt to flexible rosters to efficiently meet patient needs.
