Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with high needs in our SEN unit. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September, offering the chance to make a significant impact in the lives of children with special educational needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide personalized support to children with high needs within the SEN unit. Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs). Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and other support staff to ensure cohesive support strategies. Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all students. Monitor and record the progress of students, providing regular feedback to staff and parents. Utilize specialized strategies and interventions to support students #39; learning and development.Requirements: Proven experience working with children with high needs in an SEN setting. Strong knowledge of SEN best practices and interventions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
