Finance assisttant

Our client is offering an excellent opportunity to join their busy Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant will assist the team with the day-to-day financial operations of the identified companies in the group and provide support to the wider team as required. Key Responsibilities: bull; Assist the Finance Manager in the smooth operation and reconciliation of the Sales, Purchase and Nominal Ledgers for the identified companies within the Group. bull; Inputting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy. bull; Processing BACS payments, purchase orders and invoice authorisation. bull; Dealing with enquiries relating to purchases and suppliers. bull; Generating sales invoices and responding to queries of customers. bull; Responsible for the analysis and administrative tasks for the identified companies within the Group. bull; Processing monthly CIS and quarterly VAT returns bull; Support the Accounts Manager with any other ad hoc tasks/projects requested. bull; To support all other finance functions across the companies. bull; Work in line with all procedures and processes and support the audit and continuous improvement of the companies OHSQE integrated management system
