Project details: Blofield: Replacing the existing single-lane section of the A47 between Blofield and North Burlingham with a new two-lane dual carriageway. This will be 70m south of the existing road. We #39;ll make safety improvements to the Yarmouth Road junction, closing the right turn and adding a dedicated lane to join the A47. We will also add a new bridge over the new dual carriageway. This will connect the villages of Blofield and North Burlingham, and take traffic from Blofield toward Great Yarmouth. In addition, we also are making changes to the east junction, with a new two-tier junction connecting B1140 South Walsham Road (north of the A47) with B1140 Coxhill Road (south of the A47) Value: Circa GBP100 mill FOC: NEC 4 Tuddenham Upgrading the A47 between North Tuddenham and Easton in Norfolk to a dual carriageway. This will complete the dual carriageway between Norwich and Dereham. Plus, two new junctions. The first junction will be at Berry #39;s Lane and Wood Lane, and the second junction will be located at Blind Lane and Norwich Road and Easton roundabout will be removed. These improvements will better connect side roads into the new dual carriageway. Value: Circa GBP285 mill FOC: NEC 4 Project value: Blofield: GBP100mill Tuddenham: GBP285mill Ideal must Have Requirements - Ideally QS #39;s who can cover off subcontractor management - Ideally QS #39; who can cover off purely the utilities package (worth GBP60mill) - Must be someone who is used to working on highways and utilities diversions - Ideally QS #39; who can purely work on the reporting side - Must must be able to deal with client communications and be strong on this side - All must be confident in procurement - from low value through to full sub contract packages - Need to be comfortable in managing a job from conception to completion - Senior QS #39;s must be able to cover off all of the above and must also be able to manage 1-2 QS #39;s - Systems used are: CEMAR, Fastdraft, Orbit (bolt on to Oracle) - NEC 3 or 4 (A, B and C) Hours / working pattern: 07:30 - 17:30 on site for all roles 5 days a week on site ideally Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
