Lead client accountant

The Role * Providing up-to-date and accurate company accounts and tax returns. * Engaging with self-employed and limited company clients. * Managing day-to-day queries from clients relating to cash flow, tax advice (company and personal), VAT, PAYE, CIS and accounts treatment. * Provide accounting support to our portfolio of clients via email and telephone. * Assist with self-assessment tax returns. * Preparing statutory accounts including tax computations for year-end and cessation accounts. * Communicating with HMRC regarding our client #39;s business and personal tax. Requirements * Previous experience in a similar role dealing with client accounts. * Qualified through professional bodies (e.g. AAT, ACCA) or via direct experience. * Strong Excel skills including V Lookups and Pivot Tables * Familiarity with accounting software (Free Agent is desirable) The Package * Basic salary up to GBP38,000. * Hybrid working options * Monday to Friday (37.5 hrs) * Comprehensive healthcare plan * 33 days holiday per year * Extra day off on your birthday * Company social events and rewards (holidays, social days out etc.) * Dress down Friday #39;s * A welcoming and relaxed office environment
