Asset management lead

Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Sutton Housing Partnership, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate GBP400 per day which is negotiable dependent upon experience. We are looking for an Asset Management Lead this role will be Based SM1 4LE The right candidate will: * Lead and motivate a small team dealing with the use of assets, investment, development and disposal, procurement and commissioning contracts, VFM and open book reviews, contractual and commercial support to delivery teams, and budgetary control and financial reporting. * Manage the Quantity Surveyor and Client Manager. * Ensure that the Council rsquo;s stock and any future developments are managed in an environmentally sustainable and cost-effective manner, sourcing funding opportunities where available. * Maintain the Decency of the Property portfolio via the planning and Delivery of Major works. We require the following: * 5+ years of planned/capital works surveying experience in housing refurbishment contracts. * 5+ years management of 8+ technical staff members. * Have a strong contract management background in housing refurbishment contracts within a local authority or housing assn. * Lead on the management of multiple housing refurbishment contracts/projects ranging from GBP150k to GBP25 million. * Lead on housing refurbishment contracts procurement. * Lead on the programming of Planned/Capital Works Programmes * Knowledge and experience of the Housing Sector with particular focus on Asset Management. Strong planning skills with experience of stock condition systems, programme planning and monitoring using IT solutions. * Financial Budgeting skills to set, forecast and manage budgets, understand risk profiles and explore opportunities for VFM. * Highly skilling in data management and analysis using Excel, Asset Management Systems or other reporting methods. * Knowledge of Land Law and title management. * Understanding of implementation and deployment of GIS for use in the housing sector.
