Finance business admin lead

Job Title: Finance Business Admin Lead Location: Teignbridge, Devon Contract Type: 2-month contract, hybrid Hourly Rate: GBP18/hr Purpose of the Role: As the Finance Business Admin Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial and contracts administration processes. You will also provide essential support services, manage strategic partnerships and projects, and ensure compliance with local government financial regulations. Key Responsibilities: Act as Certifying Officer, ensuring adherence to Local Government Financial Regulations. Administer purchase orders, sundry debtor and cheque requests, and maintain contract registers. Provide day-to-day management of the Housing Team Support Officer, overseeing various administrative functions. Manage IT inventories, licenses, and user access permissions for the Housing Team. Develop and maintain internal and external webpages for the Housing department. Serve as the Data Guardian for the Housing service to manage data security. Coordinate Lone Working procedures to ensure staff safety. Review service risk assessments and conduct health safety inspections. Provide administration support for the Devon Cornwall Housing Options Partnership. Continuously review processes to identify efficiencies and improvements.Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent qualification. Highly organised with excellent analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills with high accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders.
