Laboratory technician

As a Sample Registration Technician, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and accurate registration of samples received for testing, ensuring proper documentation and tracking throughout the laboratory workflow. Responsibilities: bull; Receive and record incoming samples, ensuring accurate and complete information is entered into the laboratory information management system (LIMS). bull; Verify sample details, including sample type, identification, and associated documentation. bull; Ensure proper labelling, numbering, and storage of samples to maintain sample integrity and traceability. bull; Collaborate with laboratory teams to prioritize and distribute samples for analysis, following established protocols and turnaround times. bull; Maintain accurate and organized sample records, maintaining confidentiality and data security. bull; Assist with inventory management, including tracking and ordering of supplies. Requirements: bull; Maths, English, Chemistry or Biology at GCSE grade C or above or equivalent bull; Ability to work independently and in a team environment, effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities. bull; Enthusiasm and driven outlook to achieve results. bull; Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
