Payroll assistant

CMA Recruitment Group is currently looking to recruit a part-time Payroll Assistant on behalf of a well-established business based in Totton, Hampshire, on a temporary basis. The duration of this assignment is currently on an ongoing basis. This is a great opportunity if you are passionate individual with strong organisation skills and a desire to contribute to the smooth operation of a great payroll team. What will the Payroll Assistant role involve? Working 2 days a week, 8h per day; Responsible for two payment runs (1x months, 1x weekly. Approximately 110 in total); Maintain accurate and up to date records on the computerised payroll system and input of payroll data relating to starters, leavers and variations including statutory payments, pay awards, tax details, bank details. Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Assistant vacancy: A solid background in payroll with experience of Sage system; Ability to work in a self-motivating manner and in a stand-alone capacity; Attention to detail and high level of accuracy; Strong communications skills in an articulate and appropriate matter when responding to written and verbal queries.
