We are seeking passionate individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs. Position: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant Level 2 (x2 positions available) Location: Blackburn with Darwen Primary School Start Date: As soon as possible Working Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. Key Responsibilities: Provide support and assistance to students with special educational needs, ensuring they have access to the curriculum and can fully participate in classroom activities. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies tailored to each student #39;s needs. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported. Encourage and motivate students to overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.Requirements: Essential experience working with children with special educational needs. Ability to inspire, motivate, and support students with diverse learning needs. Hardworking and enthusiastic with a genuine passion for supporting children #39;s education and development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals. Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (desirable but not essential).This position is initially temporary but may lead to permanent opportunities for the right candidates.
