Higher learning teaching assistant

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced HLTA to work at a large SEMH school in Blackburn, Lancashire. You will be required to cover English lessons and other subjects where you are required. The role is full time and long term, with the potential to go permanent. HLTA Contract/Position Details * Location - Blackburn (BB2) * Position - HLTA * Start date - ASAP * Likely Duration - Ongoing cover * Contract type - Temporary * Full-time * Minimum rate of pay - GBP100 * Hours - 8:30am-4pm (term time only) HLTA Experience, Training and Qualifications * It is essential that you have HLTA experience, along with a relevant HLTA qualification. Experience working with SEMH pupils. * Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.* Strong behaviour management skills are a must. To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must * Hold the Right to Work in the UK. * Possess an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application. * Provide a minimum of two professional related references.
