Assistant project manager

Consilium Recruit is supporting state-of-the-art manufacturing focused research centre supporting a wide range of industrial partners. They are seeking a two Assistant Project Managers on a permanent basis and offer an excellent range of benefits. The Role The Assistant Project Manager will work with the project management team to support them to plan, administer and deliver team-driven projects to range of industrial and collaborative partners. You will research, collate, organise, and edit material for technical and project reports and communicate results to the project management team. The Assistant PM will support a wide range of projects from values of GBP 10,000 to GBP multi-million scope and maintain close partnership with key project stakeholders both internal and external. The Assistant Project Manager will monitor and track team rsquo;s activities against project priorities, budgets, milestones and assist teams with project planning activities including liaison with industrial partners and external stakeholders particularly in relation to financial considerations. Key responsibilities include: Support for project milestones and project scoping. Communication to all stakeholders Project budget tracking. Project planning activities. The Person The successful candidate will be ideally degree (or equivalent level/experientially qualified and have previous experience of working in a project driven environment. You will have experience of working in sectors using modern project methodologies such as manufacturing, digital, supply chain, defence, aerospace, medical, retail and ideally possessing a project management certification such as APM, PRINCE II etc. The Assistant Project Manager will be passionate about creating excellent project outcomes with an acute awareness of quality, cost, time, and health safety requirements.
