Accountant

You will like Full cycle accounting in Camberley office with some hybrid working with long established, forward thinking, independent firm of Chartered Accountants, acting for 800+ clients ranging from high-net-worth individuals to large corporations is expanding and now looking to appoint a fully qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant to the position of Client Manager. You will like The ACCA/ACA Accountant ndash; Client Account Manager job itself where you will maintain a portfolio of client accounts across a variety of industries. More specifically: Responsible for start to end process of requesting client records, reviewing junior team members work, issuing draft accounts (subject to partner approval), finalisation and billing process Preparation of complex accounts and corporation tax returns Assistance with delivery of management accounts Ensuring deadlines are met in a timely manner Ensuring a commercial view with respect to fees charged versus actual time spent Liaise with other departments, bookkeeping, payroll and personal tax to provide a full range of services Liaise with HMRC Mentoring of junior team members Building relationships with client and reviewing on a regular basis, ensuring they are getting the support they need Point of contact for client queries Report directly to the Partners Assist and implement company procedures and policies Working core hours, 9am to 5.15pm, 1 hour for lunch daily. You will have To be successful as ACCA/ACA Accountant ndash; Client Account Manager, you will be a fully qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant with a healthy mix of the following: Minimum 2 years post qualified practice experience Good general practice and commerciality understanding Experience gained within chartered accounting practice environment Demonstrable working knowledge of accounting standards and tax matters Comfortable client facing Happy to assist, manage and mentor trainees Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to commute to and work from an office base in Camberley in Surrey Driving license You will get As a fully qualified and experienced ACCA/ACA Accountant ndash; Client Account Manager, you will enjoy a competitive salary of GBP45-55K + Package Benefits package includes 29 days annual leave including bank holidays, pension and flexible benefits.
