Accounts assistant

ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT WATFORD SALARY UP TO GBP35K PER ANNUM DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE A civil engineering/groundworks company, now require an experienced accounting person to join a small team based at their head office in Watford. This is a varied role dealing with the general accounting work of the Company. Reporting directly into a hands-on Financial Controller, there will be the opportunity to learn Management Accounts, would suit someone studying towards AAT or similar. Key Tasks * Purchase ledger and sales ledger experience. * Strong understanding of general finance administration. * Bank and credit card reconciliations. * Monitoring of sales ledger to include the posting of remittances and ensuring timely payment of invoices. * Journal posting, * Supplier invoice posting and statement reconciliations. * Handling supplier queries efficiently. * Assisting with month end routines. * Reporting ndash; daily, weekly, month end. * Preparation of Management Accounts support. Profile * Strong IT skills. * Strong numeracy and analytical skills. * Excellent communication skill with the ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively at all levels. * Previous experience in all round accounting functions. * Consistent and disciplined attitude. 8.30am-5.00pm - Monday - Friday If interested in applying for this excellent Accounts Assistant role, kindly submit your CV to Anna Maguire.
