Quantity surveyor construction

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Construction Location: Dublin, Ireland Salary: GBP50,000-GBP60,000 Key Responsibilities: * Conduct cost analysis for commercial construction projects, including new build and maintenance projects. * Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents. * Collaborate with project teams to identify and analyze project requirements, risks, and opportunities. * Monitor project budgets and financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities and mitigating risks. * Evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids, negotiate contracts, and manage procurement processes. * Prepare and review interim valuations, variations, and final accounts. * Provide timely and accurate cost reporting to project stakeholders, including clients and senior management. * Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize project outcomes. Qualifications: * Bachelor #39;s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field. * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in commercial construction projects. * Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations. * Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. * Effective communication and negotiation abilities, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * MRICS or similar professional qualification is a plus. Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position is GBP50,000-GBP60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
