Quantity Surveyor / Estimator Location: Dublin Salary: Very Competitive (DOE) + Excellent Benefits The Client: Our client is a renowned construction firm, delivering outstanding building projects throughout Dublin and its surrounding regions. The Role: As a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating the entire tender process. They will consider both senior and intermediate level candidates. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough reviews of tender documents including bills of quantities, specifications, drawings, and contracts. Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers. Perform site inspections for tenders. Collaborate with the Bid and Construction operations teams to develop a coordinated response for site preliminaries, ensuring cost-effectiveness. Develop detailed cost plans and budgets. Analyse tenders meticulously for pricing. Present findings at tender settlement meetings with Directors. Participate in post-tender interviews and meetings to discuss and refine bids. Requirements: Previously worked for minimum 3 years in a similar role. Level 3 qualification in quantity surveying. Experience in the construction sector, ideally within the Irish construction industry. Strong problem solving and communication skills.
