Finance assistant

Finance Assistant/Bookkeeper ndash; Construction GBP25,000 - GBP35,000 Hamilton, Scotland Company Overview: Our client prides themselves on delivering exceptional construction projects with precision and excellence. As we continue to grow, we #39;re seeking a talented individual to contribute to our finance team. Responsibilities: * Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently. * Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner. * Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions. * Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. * Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements. * Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. * Support the finance team in ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed. Qualifications: * Bachelor #39;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. * 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles, preferably in the construction industry. * Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Chance to be part of exciting construction projects from start to finish.
