Finance assistant

Zenith People are looking to recruit an experienced detail orientated Finance Assistant to work at its client site in South Tyneside. The successful candidate will have experience with accounting software such as Xero to maintain financial records accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities:- * Daily check of PayPal transactions to ensure all balances have cleared for payment, along with daily PayPal draw downs * Daily Reconciliation of PayPal and Shopify payments * Daily Reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards * Obtaining and processing of delivery notes and purchase invoices * Monthly supplier statement reconciliations * Customer account control involving the matching of invoices and payments, chasing customers for late payments, sending customer statements, issuing refunds * Two weekly reconciliation of Amazon seller account This role works closely with Sales, Suppliers, Production, Warehouse and Customer Service Teams. Skills:- * Proven experience working in a similar role * Excellent communication skills * Abel to work in a fast paced environment * Good IT Skills and experience of using an ERP System (Xero desirable) * High attention to detail Reporting to the Management Accountant Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: GBP25,000.00-GBP27,000.00 per year
