Major Talent are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer for a leading printing manufacturer and supplier based in Blackburn, with a 45-year legacy. This is an excellent opportunity to become a vital part of a well-established manufacturer in a fast-paced and expanding print and print finishing environment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for attending to breakdowns, carrying out planned and preventive maintenance activities, and ensuring the upkeep of the site and building. Additionally, you will work closely with the Production Manager to maintain high standards of health and safety. What #39;s in it for you? Full-time, permanent position Great working hours: 08:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday Salary: GBP32,000.00-GBP35,000.00 per year (dependent on experience and qualifications) Additional leave Canteen access Company pension On-site parking No weekends required, with opportunities for overtime. Permanent position. 4-day workweek for six months of the year with no loss of pay. Duties of Maintenance Engineer: Perform PPM and reactive maintenance. Conduct fault finding. Utilise and update the company #39;s IT system for maintenance records. Assist in maintaining health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have the following: Multi Skilled Engineering background Experience working within maintenance in a manufacturing environment. Experience working with printing/paper machines. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
